A Note From A Reader

Hi,

Summer is now behind us and fall is here. These photos were taken in August at the boat landing on 196 and at Miller park. I moved here with my wife a few years ago. We purchased a home in Lisbon Falls. We fell in love with Lisbon, having lived our entire lives in Mapleton in Aroostook County.

It wasn’t long after we moved here that I became aware of the power struggle in the town Government. I hope that we can regain control as citizens and voters and avoid what has happened in many towns and cities in the County. High taxes and no say in what happens in the town. I plan on attending the town council meetings regularly from now on.
