Assessor Losing His Job?

Dear Editor,

Are you kidding me? This man has given the Town of Lisbon 20 years of his life. Then comes along (along came the spider and “plopped” down beside us…) the new town manager and his “buddy” and, poof, he may no longer have a job (thanks for your service, but c-ya). Unbelievable! We’re paying the new “Development Director” $60,000 plus schooling to get her qualified because she currently is not qualified for the job. Dan Feeney was being paid 50K as a qualified Development Director. Mr. Samson states that he is about a year and a half away from retirement. Why not just let him just finish the job he started 20 years ago, and get rid of the “cling-on” that sneaked in with Mr. Eldridge.
