We all know that water flows downhill. Sometimes the water runs rough and white, other times it is mirror smooth and black. Now that just aches for a story writing later.
Can we learn from what happens up stream? You bet. Are we learning? Oh yeah, each day.
Rumford has had it's share of problems over the past few years and they seem to have learned the hard way. Most lessons are learned that way. Lisbon is no different, we are in 'our' stage of learning and if you don't believe, be sure to watch the Town Council meeting tomorrow night on Cable. Trust us, you will want a big bag of popcorn to watch Mike Bowie at his best.
We have a validated Ethics Panel established now and it is high time we use them. Watch it and judge for yourselves as to the level of prejudice and intimidation that was exhibited.
We should have learned by now, but we haven't.
