Notice and Reminder To Lisbon Citizens

For the benefit of all Lisbon Citizens the following Rules are provided as a reminder of just what the expected behavior is for people using Town Parks.


Sec. 30-88.5. Special regulations.
(a) No motorized vehicles except emergency, motorized wheelchairs, town maintenance, and snowmobiles are allowed in Miller Park.
(b) Use of Gazebo Park for events requires a permit.
(c) Use of Pinewoods Road Ball Field Park shall be controlled by the recreation department. Rules approved by the recreation committee.
(d) The conservation commission may control Beaver Park by approving additional rules.
(e) Smoking is not allowed in any park.
(f) Alcohol possession or use is not allowed in any park.
(g) Dogs are allowed in parks but only on a leash as per section 6-31 and waste removal is required as per section 6-34.
(h) The trail commission may promulgate additional rules for Miller Park.
(i) Political or advertising signs are prohibited on all parks including the garden area at School Street/Route 196 intersection.
(j) Use of Bookworm Garden Park shall be controlled by the Lisbon Falls Library. Rules approved by the library governing board.
