A Reader Writes About Another Readers Letter

In response to Ms. Dot Fitzgerald's letter criticizing my article in Tuesday's LISBON REPORTER,  regarding the American worker and the Pelosi health care bill ...... it is quite obvious she didn't bother to read the entire article or she wouldn't have said what she did in the first paragraph of her ill thought out reply.

She is as delusional about the Pelsoi health care bill as Mike Michaud  and Chellie Pengree was in voting for it.  It is particularly disturbing that Michaud voted for it considering his background in Unionism. I would guess I'm 100% correct in stating that neither Ms. Fitzgerald, Michaud, nor Pengree, read the 2000+ page document.

Wake up Ms. Fitzgerald.  The Pelosi bill is NOT about health care, it's about CONTROL!  Control by the central government in Washington over not only one sixth of our national economy, but control over the lives of all Americans by a socialized central government analogous to those in Europe.

Ms. Fitzgerald  obviously does not care how the Obama administration is marching to the beat of a different drummer than those brave men who gave their lives in pursuit of her freedom at Lexington and Concord in April of 1775.

I guess Ms. Fitzgerald doesn't care if her children and grand children inherit a national debt whose interest on that debt in just a few shot decades will equal the gross income of the U. S. Treasury; if such unchecked government spending such as the Pelosi health care bill and the cap and trade bill isn't stopped dead in their tracks ... NOW !

I wonder if Ms. Fitzgerald will be the first to complain when she needs a hip replacement, but cannot receive it because some bureaucrat in Washington decides she is not eligible for that particular operation.  Read the Pelosi bill Ms. Fitzgerald, and stop whining about the companies who provide jobs for working Americans. What few jobs we now have will be jettisoned off shore if bills like the Pelosi health care bill and the Obama cap and trade bill become a reality.

It is quite obvious that Ms. Fitzgerald puts her political affiliation before her country and the welfare of her fellow Americans.  As far as those dastardly business executives she rants about are concerned ....  our own state would be much, much better off if we had someone of true business experience in the Blaine House and not a career politician.

I wonder if she would stop her whinning about 'business executives' if she knew that the Pelosi family has a net worth of over $20 million dollars, largely from San Francisco bay area real estate, vineyards in St. Helena, California, and mega millions in Apple Computer.  Care to look up who the Pelosi family hires in their businesses, Ms. Fitzgearld?  I bet you won't, because if you did you would find out that the pot is calling the kettle black.

Mother Russia woke up after 82 years of Marxism to realize they couldn't make it on the world economic scene without those "big business executives"  that Ms. Fitzgerald complains about. That same ghastly shadow that permeated Moscow during the years of 1903 through 1912 are beginning to emanate from Washington.  With myopic thinking people like Ms. Fitzgerald, America might be seeing that same scenario over the next eight years.

Lets pray to God we don't!
