Thank you Lisbon Reporter for publishing the information concerning police salaries in Maine. Don't forget the chief "retired" several years ago, so he collects his Maine State pension in addition to his salary. Usually when a police chief or top official retires, there is a reduction in salary for that person and ACTUAL retirement follows. Former Lewiston police chief's salary was reduced to accommodate his additional income(pension) and he actually retired from Lewiston. Do people realize that the Lisbon police chief received a "second retirement matching funds" allotment from the Town for a period of time? He thought he deserved it.AIBLisbon Concerned Citizen
