What A Great Idea Dot Has

One Million dollars is a big chunk of change!That it is!But when watching the Moxie Parade on Saturday I lost count of the number of fire equipment we have here in our little town. We can afford (?) to purchase two (2) new police cruisers each and every year.

 

What an excellent idea Dot has. Fire trucks? I was thinking of the same, watching the parade. Of course we need firetrucks! But how many millions has the Town got invested in them. Overkill? I really don't know, but seems as if so, from a little peon, here.  And the HUGE ladder truck.? Do we have anything in this Town over three story's?   And, I understand that Lewiston, Auburn, or maybe Brunswick are really the beneficiary's of it?

 

Also, personally, I also believe it's overkill with our Police cars. However. Let's face it.  Aren't the Council Members intimidated by the Dept.?  When we went to the Council form of Government,  I would have wagered that intimidation would possibly/probably end.  Boy, was I wrong.  Sure glad I didn't wager!

 

Let's hope Dot has a good thing going here and it can be sold to the Town.
