P. W. Sugg Boys Soccer Results

The Sugg Greyhounds took their second loss with admirable optimism as
Maranacook dealt a solid 2-12 defeat on Lisbon's home field. The
visiting team managed to keep control of the ball for most of the game
enabling countless shots at Greyhound Goalie Jordan Cole who made
numerous excellent saves. The Greyhounds were able to make several
strong attacks with tenacious players like rookie forward Kyle Welsh
whose speed and endurance are among Lisbon's finest. It was Nick
Huston's foot that put the ball in the opponent's net twice, first on
a break-away and soon after on a penalty kick. Lisbon will look for
their first win as they go to Hall Dale Tuesday.
