Lisbon Rec 7th/8th grade football 26 - Boothbay 18‏

On Friday 10/8, Lisbon Rec 7th/8th grade football played under the lights and were victorious over Boothbay, final score 26-18.

The offensive line worked to open big holes for the running backs.  Acknowledgements go out to Connor Stitch, Darren Ward, Logan Moulton, Beckett Wagner, Josh Collier, and Andrew Golino.

Joe Philbrick carried the ball eighteen times for 107 yards, including one touchdown and one 2-point conversion.  Shawn Grover carried the ball sixteen times for 113 yards, including one touchdown.  CJ Adams had four carries for 25 yards, inluding a touchdown, and Kyle Bourget had a 15 yard run for a touchdown

The defense also played an outstanding game, lead by Henry Adams and Joe Philbrick.  Adams had three tackles and four assists.  Philbrick three tackles, seven assists, and one fumble recovery.  Trevor Gagnon had four assists, and Kyle Bourget had four tackles and three asists.

Lisbon Rec 7th/8th football has their next game on Wednesday, 10/13, 4:00 pm. at home versus Winthrop.
