On Friday 10/29, Lisbon Sugg girls’ soccer played against St Michael’s and tied 2X2

The scenario of the last game of the Greyhounds was not the best, the field was soaked, muggy and slippery; nevertheless Lisbon played one of their best games in this season, dominating the ball possession most of the time and shooting uncountable shots in the Saints’ goal.

Defense line battled passionately to stop the opponent’s attack over and over, including Capitan Kailyn Hill, who led the Defense, Left Fullback Mikayla Yanez and Right Fullback Taylor Feehan. Greyhound’s midfielders took over the midfield by marking and stopping St Michael’s midfielders, including Left Midfielder Abby Gamache, Center Midfielder Chandler Riordan and Right Midfielder Drew Stewart-Staples.

Offensively, the Greyhounds were superior today. Left Forward Katherine George, Right Forward Loren Grant and Center Forward Ashley Conrad pressured St Michael’s defense enough to complicate them more than once and created several opportunities of goal. LF Katherine George had a very clear and well directed shot blocked by the goalie. RF Loren Grant kept an intense rhythm of game by running the whole game and CF Ashley Conrad, once more displayed a great talent by dribbling passing many players several times, shooting many times in goal and scoring Lisbon’s two goals , which came from two powerful shots from 20 yards.
