TOWN OF LISBON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Lisbon Town Council will hold a
public hearing for public comments and questions on Tuesday, May 8,
2012 at 7:00PM at the Lisbon Community School Cafeteria on 33 Mill
Street. The proposed budget summary by department will be available at
the Town Office or on–line at www.lisbonme.org.
Draft Proposal, the Town Budget, as proposed by the Town Manager:
Total Expenditures: $7,329,739 a 5.71% Increase from 2011–2012.
Total Revenue: $2,883,950 a 3% increase from 2011–2012.
This is the Town Council starting point on the 2012–2013 fiscal year budget
In Summary, the School Budget, as proposed by the Superintendent of Schools and the School Committee:
Total Expenditures: $14,167,504 a 3% increase from 2011–2012.
Total State Subsidy: $8,270,938 a 2.6% increase from 2011–2012.
Total Local Funding: $5,471,099 a 3.6 increase from 2011–2012.
These proposed budgets will increase the municipal tax rate. The Town Council and School Committee will consider public comments and questions in reviewing the budgets at a public meeting on May 8; meeting includes the Budget Advisory Board. Citizens are encouraged to attend the hearing and ask questions or provide advice.

Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace and Pay Your Tax Bill As We Anticipate It Will Go UP AT LEAST 2mil = $250 per $100k Of Valuation as the proposed budget stands today! ! ! ! !
