Lisbon Community School Students Celebrate Kindness Week
Lisbon Community School’s Assistant Principal, Ryan Patrie, recently announced the poster contest winners from the week-long Celebrate Kindness Week. Lisbon – Students and their families worked together designing a poster promoting kindness. Assistant Principal Ryan Patrie, invited all LCS students and their families to enter a poster contest in recognition of the National No-Name Calling Week. Over 150 entries were submitted promoting various acts of kindness, compassion, and empathy. Winners of the poster contest received a Sam’s gift certificate thanks to a Lisbon Schools’ partnership with Sam’s. Every child who submitted a poster received a special LCS pencil for their efforts in promoting a healthy school environment.
