Brooks, where is the missing money from the town coffers?

"Back in March 2007, the town processed a loan for the Atlantic Commercial Cleaners
for $32,500 dollars. In 2008, Jennifer Norris discovered there was no
such business and the town began an investigation into the
misappropriation of these funds. As of right now, no one has been
convicted and the money has never been recovered."
I
am sorry to say, based upon what I have read, the statute of
limitations has expired on this and I doubt we will ever see anyone
charged nor funds recovered ... although it would be nice to know who
actually disbursed the funds - especially if the Town Council did not
approve the expenditure ...

Gregg - I have signed copies of the Purchase Order,Promissory Note and
the cancelled check signed by Rodney Moody, the Finance Officer for the
town at the time. How much more legal does it have to be since there
were no protocols in place at the time????? Take a wild guess who was
the Interim Town Manager during the investigation, Brooks!!!
