 Maine Governor Paul LePage

World English Dictionary

2. a protest or reproof, esp a petition presented in protest against something

This update is from Phil Merletti who is on the team that has served the Governor with the Remonstrance.  The Remonstrance is the highest form of legal action we can take to force a constitutional government.  Phil and others met with the Governor on Saturday morning.  The following is his update from the meeting.  Please read as this is extremely important.  If we succeed with this remonstrance procedure, we will be making history across this country and other tea parties across the USA will follow our lead.   In Liberty,  Amy

 From Phil:
This is an immediate alert that needs your immediate attention, continued support and response.

The information given by me today must be understood and acted on because it is “need to know information” and time sensitive.

Governor LePage Pledges full support to the Maine & U.S. Constitutions and gave assurances and he agrees to a commitment that a study will be made for compliance to all bills in the future. He also promised a study to follow-up on past bills that may have been accepted and not constitutional. He also pledged that he would not comply with any unconstitutional demands or laws that come from Washington that would force him to violate his “Oath of Office”.

Up-date: Saturday, 06th of February, Gary Smart, Wayne Leach, Jack McCarthy and I (members of the Constitutional Coalition and the Continental Congress of 2009) had met with the Governor for approximately one hour and a half.

Because of an internal lack of clarity of his staff on Constitutional Remonstrance Procedures and confusing procedures of his office, our Remonstrance was inappropriately misfiled and not given to the Governor in time to respond to our 10-day response.

The Governor was apologetic and explained that he was not ignoring the “Lawful Constitutional Process” that we had filed and engaged. This is why he met with us two days after he realized the Remonstrance was filed.

It was clearly explained to the governor that his staff was responsible for shutting out people that had legitimate grievances and wrongs that Maine people were suffering under current laws rules and regulations. The Governor was extremely touched and saddened with the fact that many complaints grievances, complaints and wrongs never reached his desk. He said that the current process would not continue.

The Governor pledged that he personally would take this matter in hand and would rectify the past procedures for response to complaints made to his office. We now need to follow through and give the Governor full support in the future if we want Constitutional Change.

The President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House are still in Violation of the Maine constitution for refusing the Constitutional process to meet with us concerning Legislative violations of the past and upcoming bills. The Senate and House leaders still need to know that this is serious and that “this Government has unconstitutionally wronged the Maine people.”

“WE THE PEOPLE” need to speak in one voice and one message “we want our Maine and U.S Constitutional protections given back to us!!!

Please continue to sign our petition, and be ready for a call to “lawful and peaceful” action in the future.

In freedom and Liberty, the iron is hot!!!
