A Citizen Is Asking For A Wake Up Call For The Rest Of You!

have listened to the articles that are run in the Lisbon Reporter. The
more I read and see and hear the more I feel we as Americans have to do
something. I think we should start small and straighten out the problems
of our town.
When we have succeeded in in returning the management of the
town back to responsible citizens, we will have learned how to return
the management of our country to the people. Then we will have showed the
rest of he people how to do it, I hope. It will be a difficult task but
we need to do something before it is too late. We can no longer be
complacent.
Maybe if we all, that's all of the tax-payers, of Lisbon
showed up at the next council meeting it would send a message to the
council and manager that we no longer will sit back and let out rights
be continually eroded. Of course, to take our country back will take a
much bigger effort.

Mr. Wile, I am glad that you are expressing your concerns about the problems of the town. I wish more citizens would wake up. It is critical to this community that we restore this back to "A nice place to live and do business". The town council has strayed away from this concept and allowed mismanagement and corruption to flow rapidly. This town is in dire need of saving.
As I said.... Lisbon is doing just fine. If you don't like it then move.. I will help pack the truck.. Just stop posting your negitive remarks about Lisbon for the world to see. You are hurting the town!!!!!!!
