NaturalNews: Flu defense nutrition tips and product solutions‏

Dear Lisbon Reporter and NaturalNews readers,
A lot of people are battling colds and flus this year, and for some reason the viral infections seem to be more severe than in years past.
Because of that -- as well as the sudden rise of a new bird flu strain in China -- there's a lot of increased interest in immune system support right now.
We've got three items at the Natural News store that can be very helpful in supporting healthy immune function:

EnerHealth Immune Support Pack: A combination of six products, including Honey & Propolis Throat Spray, Lung Renewal Herbal Remedy and EchinOsha Herbal Remedy

SurThrival Chaga Extract Tincture: A liquid Chaga mushroom extract made from wildcrafted Chaga mushrooms harvested in Vermont

SurThrival Colostrum: "Immune milk" with 97 immune factors, ethically harvested and low-temperature processed

In addition, here are some commonsense tips on boosting immune function and preventing viral infections:

1) Keep your vitamin D levels up. Vitamin D helps prevent many infections.
2) Boost your intake of zinc and other trace minerals. Zinc is especially important for preventing infections.
3) Be careful not to over-stress your immune system through extreme physical workouts or lack of sleep. Sleep loss causes nutrient depletion, making you more susceptible to infections.
4) Encourage the people around you to get healthy so that they don't become carriers of infectious disease. Importantly, getting vaccinated is not sufficient! Flu vaccines actually weaken your immune system and make you more susceptible to the flu.
5) Practice basic hygiene by washing your hands, especially after you've shaken hands with someone else or touched public surfaces such as hand rails.
If you do get sick, get plenty of rest, drink lots of water and support your immune function with appropriate foods, herbs and supplements.

Stay healthy!
