GOPDD: Kurt Russell: Of course I have guns. And I shoot them. This is no time to lay down your weapons.

Kurt Russell is a hardcore Libertarian who takes his right to bear arms very, very seriously. He has always been a favorite of mine and so has his long time partner, Goldie Hawn. Russell is a refined, eloquent man who is simply lovable. He would have made a wonderful diplomat, but that would have been Hollywood’s loss, because he is also an exceptional actor. Originally, I was not going to see his new movie, The Hateful Eight, because it was written and produced by Quentin Tarantino, who is a stone cold cop hater. But that was before I knew Kurt Russell had a starring role. I wouldn’t miss it for the world now and he is already being mentioned in connection with the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award. Russell gets it exactly right about guns… this is not the time to lay down your weapons.
