According to the supervisor in charge of
the Worumbo Mill demolition, the mill is two weeks into a 45 day
schedule for interior demolition. After completion of interior
demolition the remaining exterior structure will be brought down below
ground leveled. The whole demolition should be finished by the end of
June 2016.
After the building is down the remaining hole will be filled and topped off with a layer of loam that will be seeded with grass. Finally there will be a fence constructed around the area.
It appears all permits and notifications are in order and everything is progressing as scheduled.
