WikiLeaks has released a Clinton campaign email chain from April of 2015 which exposes an urgent attempt to deal with the pressing issue of accepting as much donor money as possible, from a variety of foreign governments and representatives.
The questions involve the criteria which would be used to justify and permit the acceptance of foreign cash, who would be allowed to purchase Clinton favors as an acceptable donor and who would not. The discussions involved where they draw the line of sketchiness, what can be explained away and how. The urgency rose from the fact that large amounts of money were being offered, the clock was ticking, and the situations created by each donor were unique in their own way.
