GOPDD: John Bolton: Russia Hacks Could Be ‘False Flag Operation’ by Obama Admin
John Bolton told Fox News’ Eric Shawn Sunday night that the alleged Russian hacks of the DNC and RNC could be some sort of “false flag operation.”Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton said in a nationally televised interview the accusations of Russian hacks that have been plaguing Donald Trump’s rise to the White House could very well be purposeful plants from the Obama administration.
Bolton, who’s being considered for a deputy secretary of state role for Trump’s administration, made the remarks in an interview with Eric Shawn of Fox News, while discussing the largely Democratic accusations of Russian interference in the presidential elections.
Bolton brought up a prior statement made by FBI director James Comey to make his point. Comey claimed that no trace of foreign hacking was observed on Hillary’s server but now Obama is contending that they did leave a trace when hacking to influence a U.S. election?
