GOPDD: Doctors Busted Faking Medical Records to Help Immigrants Get Citizenship

A Chicago doctor is accused of illegally helping immigrants bypass US citizenship tests. A Chicago doctor and a member of her staff have been charged with falsifying medical documents to help applicants bypass U.S. citizenship tests.
Over 1,000 people a year submit forms to immigration in Chicago alone to waive the requirements for citizenship. The regulations say they must understand English and pass a test in U.S. history and civics, but if they have a doctor fill out a N-648 form they can list any issue or language barrier that might prevent them from meeting these requirements.
