Center for Responsive Politics show that Republicans Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, John McCain, John Kasich, and Lindsey Graham all received money from a hedge fund that was started by liberal billionaire, George Soros.
Employees of a hedge fund founded by liberal king George Soros, donated tens of thousands of dollars to top Republicans who fought against President Donald Trump in 2016, donation records compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics show.
The amounts aren’t large, but just what type of influence were they trying to buy?

The two Republicans who broke ranks with their party and announced they would vote against education secretary nominee Betsy DeVos have received thousands of dollars from the nation's largest teachers union.
Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R., Alaska) and Susan Collins (R., Maine) have each benefited from contributions from the National Education Association. Collins received $2,000 from the union in 2002 and 2008, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Murkowski, meanwhile, has received $23,500.

Rep. William Lacy Clay (D., Mo.) dished out nearly $150,000 in campaign funds to a law firm owned by his sister during the 2016 election cycle and has paid more than $800,000 to the firm since 2002.
The St. Louis Democrat has also paid more than $30,000 to his father's scholarship fund over the years.
Clay began paying family members from his campaign committee, Clay Jr. for Congress, almost immediately after entering Congress in 2001.

In a report just out, some major Republicans have been caught suckling at the teat of George Soros. The report accessed financial records from the Soros Fund and found that not only was the former Nazi Socialist financing most of the Democrat liberal nut jobs in our government, but that it was also stroking some 13 different Republicans.
A non-profit, non-partisan research group which is based out of Washington D. C. has published a list which looks like a list of Who’s Who in the Republican Party. Of course at the top of the list are some names that you will recognize from recent events. You know the jerks that keep going behind our Presidents back and trying to make him look bad, or are withholding their full support from his programs.

New York Senator and Democratic Party Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer got emotional over the weekend when he spoke about President Trump’s temporary ban of refugees from terror-prone countries.

“This executive order was mean-spirited and un-American,” the Democratic senator from New York said through tears. “It was implemented in a way that created chaos and confusion across the country.”

Chuck Schumer was brought to tears on Sunday during a press conference condemning President Trump’s temporary halt on immigrants from seven nations. However, it wasn’t long ago that the New York Senator was singing a different tune.
But back in November of 2015 the same Chuck Schumer said that a halt of Syrian refugees may be necessary after the Paris attacks happened that killed well over 100 innocent people.

Rep. Gregory Meeks (D., N.Y.) has paid more than $150,000 to a company owned by the wife of his New York chief of staff since 2008, a review of campaign finance records shows.
Meeks, who has been a member of the House of Representatives since 1998, has employed Robert Simmons in his New York office as chief of staff since 2006. Simmons is the second highest-paid staffer on Meeks' payroll, earning a yearly salary of around $95,000, according to data from Legistorm.

John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina released a joint statement on Sunday calling the ban “a self-inflicted wound in the fight against terrorism.” They were just two of the more prominent lawmakers on both sides of the aisle who have come out against Trump’s order, which sparked widespread protests across the nation.

Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren is under fire after lecturing about ethics and financial transparency in the Washington Post.
The Washington Free Beacon reports:

Warren argued that financial disclosures are needed to ‘reveal potentially damaging information that may undermine fitness to serve’ and that nominees with ‘complex financial histories’ need to be ‘forthcoming and transparent.’ Warren, meanwhile, continues to skirt congressional ethics laws by failing to include a $1.3 million line of credit against her Cambridge, Massachusetts, home on financial disclosure forms.

A U.S. senator who took advantage of a loophole in ethics laws to avoid disclosing a $1.3 million credit line against her home is now warning that incomplete financial disclosures from cabinet nominees put the country at risk.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D., Mass.) warning came in the Washington Post, where she wrote that “it is critical that each nominee follows basic ethics rules to ensure that they will act for the benefit of all the American people.”

Sens. Tom Cotton and Chuck Schumer reportedly got into an angry confrontation on the Senate floor Friday over Senate Democrats delaying the confirmation of Rep. Mike Pompeo for CIA director, The Weekly Standard reports.
Cotton was reportedly irate with Schumer’s delay of the confirmation vote and loudly accosted him on the Senate floor. Schumer retorted that the Senate had never confirmed a CIA director on Inauguration Day, adding that Senate Republicans did not do the same for former President Barack Obama. He continued that Cotton would have known this if he had been in the Senate eight years ago.

As the Democrats continue to be obstructionists on President Trump’s cabinet nominees, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) Mitch McConnell is starting to come under some pressure for his blatant partisanship in dragging out the confirmation process.
Even the Democrat-friendly Chuck Todd of NBC questions why they are making things so difficult, asking, “Why hold up Mike Pompeo’s nomination for a weekend? He’s going to get confirmed tomorrow, why be that, it does look politically, petty?”

Congressmen who live in tax-delinquent townhouses probably shouldn't throw stones.
Less than a week after telling "Meet the Press" moderator Chuck Todd that he didn't see Donald Trump as a "legitimate president," Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia, has been outed as a tax scofflaw.
Asked by Todd if he would look for ways to cooperate with Trump, Lewis responded, "It's going to be very difficult. I don't see this president-elect as a legitimate president. I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected. And they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton.
