He basically said that the decision did not affect his unlawful policies and that to solve the problem of illegal immigration, Congress would have to pass a law, which we all know, he would ignore.

It’s not only illegal aliens who are escaping enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws.
Under the Obama administration’s expansive interpretation of executive authority, legal immigrants seeking citizenship through the nation’s Naturalization process are now exempt from a key part of the Oath of Allegiance.

Immigrants seeking to become citizens no longer have to pledge to “bear arms on behalf of the United States.” They can opt out of that part of the Oath. Nor do they have to cite any specific religious belief that forbids them to perform military service.

A tie vote by the Supreme Court is blocking President Barack Obama’s immigration plan that sought to shield millions living in the U.S. illegally from deportation.
The justices’ one-sentence opinion on Thursday effectively kills the plan for the duration of Obama’s presidency.

A tie vote sets no national precedent but leaves in place the ruling by the lower court. In this case, the federal appeals court in New Orleans said the Obama administration lacked the authority to shield up to 4 million immigrants from deportation and make them eligible for work permits without approval from Congress.

GOPDD: IRS Head: Not Our Job To Go After Illegal Immigrants

(Via The Hill) It is not within the Internal Revenue Service’s jurisdiction to go after illegal immigrants who use others’ Social Security numbers just to get jobs, the agency’s commissioner, John Koskinen, said Wednesday.

“Our responsibility is to make sure they pay their taxes,” Koskinen said at a House Small Business Committee hearing. “We have Social Security and immigration authorities and others who enforce that part of the law, and if we start looking behind the system and doing their job for them, we’re going discourage a lot of people from paying the taxes they owe.”
Koskinen’s comments come after remarks he made about undocumented workers using others’ SSNs at a Senate Finance Committee hearing Tuesday.

EAGLE RISING: Illegal Alien Kills Woman, is Releasedby the Obama Administration and then Disappears!

This is another example of the march of injustice in Obama’s America today.
In January19-year old Edwin Mejia killed 21-year old Sarah Root in a drunk driving accident. Mejia was arrested and appeared before a judge, where he was identified as an illegal alien. Immigration authorities had the option of having Mejia held because of his illegal status but chose not to because he “did not meet Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s (ICE) enforcement priorities” as laid out by the Obama administration. So, instead, Mejia agreed to a court mandated twice-a-day appointment to submit to a breathalyzer test and was released on his own recognizance. He hasn’t been seen since and is now on ICE’s “Most Wanted List.”
