At the state and local levels, we're formulating governance models and development strategies that will reshape the face of Maine and the Mid-coast region more dramatically than at any time since Brunswick Naval Air Station opened during the 1940s.

The people who inherit the task of managing the outcome of those critical decisions ought to have a say in how they're reached.

Public health campaigns regularly urge Mainers to talk to young people about the choices they face. It's just as important to listen to them."
