Lisbon Community School DARE Graduation‏

Pictured (l-r) are the readers from the 2008/2009 5^th grade D.A.R.E. program: Alyssa Finlay, Dalton Watson, Ryley Galipeau, Hannah Berube, Nate Bergeron, Troy Galarneau, Jacob Bussier, Charlotte Mooney, Damon Douglas, Melinda Stevens, Adrianna White, Morgan Thomas, and Officer Darin Estes.

Lisbon - On Friday, April 3, Bates College hosted the 2008-2009 D.A.R.E. Graduation for Lisbon Community School students. The Lewiston college provided the graduates and their guests with a complimentary lunch and facility for the annual ceremony. Approximately 50 guest attended the ceremony for 80 D.A.R.E. graduates.

D. A. R. E is a ten week program supported by the Lisbon Police Department that teaches students to resist pressures that may encourage them to try drugs or use violence.
