The Town of Lisbon is seeking a Certified Assessor. Employee of this class is responsible for the evaluation and assessment of all taxable property within the Town and the administration and supervision of all department functions. Work involves extensive field work, reviewing assessments, ensuring department operations are up-to-date, and maintaining the tax rolls. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Town Manager and is carried out with considerable technical independence in accordance with applicable laws. Work is reviewed for results obtained and through State and local review and appeal.
