Lisbon – On Tuesday, November 3, Lisbon Xtra-Mart Manager, Tonia Ross, presented
Ken Healey, Principal of Lisbon High School, with a check for $750. Ross
made the presentation as a grant to the school on behalf of the Educational
Alliance Program sponsored by Exxon/Mobil. “Thanks to the contributions
from community businesses like Xtra-Mart, the students at Lisbon High School
benefit. Monies will be used to purchase “spirit shirts” for
student awards in areas of academic achievement and overall good sportsmanship,” said Healey. “We are pleased
to support our local high school and its students,” shared Ross.
“It is always a pleasure to help the students at LHS – they make
our community proud.”
