Town Council Notice‏

Lisbon - The Lisbon Town Council public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, February 2 at 6 p.m. for a $350,000 school renovation. The meeting is scheduled at Lisbon High School.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER
A PROPOSED ORDER
TO APPROVE
GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND - $350,000
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Lisbon, Maine will meet at the Lisbon High School Gym, 2 Sugg Drive, Lisbon Falls, Maine at 6:00p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, to conduct a public hearing to consider the adoption of an order to authorize the issuance and delivery of $350,000 of General Obligation Bonds of the Town to provide funding for Lisbon High School Renovations, including Accessibility Improvements to the School Entrance and Renovations to the Gymnasium Roof and North Side Windows. The Bonds are to be sold to the Maine Municipal Bond Bank or such other purchaser and on such terms as the Town Council shall approve. After the public hearing on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, the Council will act to approve or disapprove the order authorizing sale of the Bonds before the question is submitted to public referendum pursuant to Town Charter. Signed written comments received by the Council before the public hearings will be considered.
