Lisbon HS Healthy Decision Day‏

Lisbon Police, Lisbon Fire Department and Lisbon Emergency work together with Lisbon High School students’ local Chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions (S. A. D. D.) re-enacting an accident scene during a previous Health Decision Day.  This year’s event is scheduled for Friday, April 16 at the high school from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
 
 
Lisbon - On Friday, April 16 all Lisbon High School students and staff will have an opportunity to take part in the Sixth Annual Healthy Decisions Day sponsored by the local Chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A. D. D).  The event promotes alternative activities for students.  The highlight of this year’s event will feature activities on the dangers of Texting and Driving.  Other workshops will include a Lisbon Police Department K-9 Demonstration, Operating Under the Influence (OUI) golf chart challenge (weather permitting), Healthy Eating Tips, and an Iron Chef competition.  Directly following workshops, a school-wide assembly will be held featuring a presentation from Channel 6, WCSH Reporter, Susan Kimball.  FMI contact S.A.D.D.
