A Big Thank You to Anita Marenius for the photo.

The Thanksgiving season has commenced once again, and in Lisbon Falls a bountiful cornupia has been constructed by volunteers in The Green Thumb Gang. We hope the citizens of Lisbon and the many people passing through our town will enjoy the display and reflect on the blessings that abound in the love of family and friends , the beauty of nature and the changing seasons .
We thank the following persons who donated for the display: Paul Chizmar ( turkey) ,the late Bob Gibson( Pilgrims), Linda Gamrat ( painter), Faye Brown and Dennis Gagne(cornupia),Dennis Gagne (display design), Mark Jones ( public works assistance), Norm Lamphere ( rope donation),Louise Reynolds, Bruce Brann and Faye Brown for donating the bounty of  pumpkins, gourds & plants.
A footnote : the 3  large black wheels  behind the display are down-pulley wheels from the carding machine of our famous Worumbo Mill and were donated by Mr. & Mrs. Herbert Miller.
