St. Matthew’s offers free Christmas & Praise concert

St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church on the hill off Route 196 in Lisbon is offering a free Christmas & Praise concert featuring “Manifest” as its 8^th annual gift to the community on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 7 pm.

“Christmas brings a joy and energy into our lives.  This year St. Matthew’s helps the musical group Manifest share some of that joy and energy with our neighbors as we celebrate the joy that is the birth of Jesus, the Christ,” said the Rev. Beau Wagner, Rector of St. Matthew’s Church.

St. Matthew’s parishioners will provide free desserts. 

Manifest features Kelly Bisson (25) from Sabattus, Nate Holcombe (26) from Portland, Lee Fellman (23) from Readfield, and Tim Sturtevant (21) from Fayette. 

St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, founded in 1906, brings together contemporary worship with ancient ritual, Bible-based preaching, expressions of the Holy Spirit, and loving service to others.
