Lisbon School Nurses Recognized‏


Lisbon – Lisbon School Department nurses, Nancy Craig, Elaine Daly and Carrie Pelletier received recognition from the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention for their outstanding contribution to childhood immunization in Maine.  According to Jiancheng Huang, Director, “The Maine Immunization Program would like to recognize your efforts in timely reporting School Located Vaccine Clinics (SLVC) activities to MeCDC that helped to monitor and prevent influenza in the State of Maine.”  Formal awards for this achievement were presented during the May 2011 Maine Immunization Conference in Augusta.  Pictured (l-r) Lisbon Community School’s nurse, Nancy Craig; Lisbon High School’s nurse, Elaine Daly; Lisbon School Department Superintendent, Richard Green; and Philip W.
