Lisbon – Richard Green,
Superintendent of the Lisbon School Department, announces the
appointment of Heather Wilmot, as the new Director of Student Services.
Green introduced Wilmot to the Lisbon Schools’ staff during the
Professional Staff day held on Wednesday, August 24. “It is with
great enthusiasm and vigor that I have accepted the position of Director
of Student Services for the Lisbon School Department,” shares Wilmot.
“I have accepted this position because I know the leadership that is
takes to achieve and maintain appropriate educational programming that
meets students’ unique needs and which supports the mission and vision
of the Lisbon School Department. It is my intention to contribute to
constructive educational change through the demonstration of my
knowledge of current practice and research in school improvement. As
the Director of Student Services I am committed to working in
coordination with all student support personnel, educators and members
of the leadership team to enhance individual education and development.”
