Mr. Jay Martin, Maine’s and the United States’ first Small Business Advocate, holds
the state’s regulatory agencies accountable in their control of small businesses
(fifty employees or fewer). Mr. Martin will explain in what capacities he is able to
defend and protect small businesses in Maine and what his position offers for the future.
