Lisbon
- Five teachers at Philip W. Sugg Middle School in Lisbon were selected
by their colleagues to be honored at the annual Portland Sea Dogs
Teacher Appreciation Day. Teachers were provided with tickets to the
game on Friday, April 27th.
Portland
Sea Dogs extended an invitation to the school to nominate five teachers
who have gone above and beyond the call of duty this past year.
Nominations were based upon their level of commitment to education,
commitment to their students, as well as any capstone achievement they
have accomplished this year.
“This
recognition represents a high level of commitment and ability in
shaping a better tomorrow and future for our students,” shares Assistant
Principal, Thomas Landberg. “Each and every nomination received
demonstrates our appreciation of one another, as a staff, to promote the
many successful efforts and goals of our school. We are extremely
pleased to honor our teachers who represent our commitment to our
students and their families at Philip W. Sugg Middle School.” FMI on
