Why are Lisbon Taxpayers paying more in taxes than Brunswick, A town more than twice our size.   We are close to the tax rates of Auburn and Lewiston, Towns  three and four times our size.

Its time to  finally recognize the 500 lb. gorilla in Lisbon and  slash its bloated budget before it costs  more Lisbon residents their homes.   

 

Forcing the elderly and low income residents of Lisbon to pay for 26 Police employees many making $40 - $45,000 dollars a year is morally offensive and despicable.

Are we not our brothers keeper.
