So Who Is Going To Educate You Two "Hoodlums" From Lieing To Your Citizens

This is a letter to the editor of the Sun Journal  about educating the youth in our society and when done they grow up to commit less crime according to a study done in CHICAGO!  But what I want to know is who is going to educate the Adults of the communities from lieing to their constituents about certain aspects and costs associated with, oh let's say an overly funded Dispatch Communications Center that is used as a secondary relay as help. Then I suppose we could discuss Brooks' whining about grants he received but never did. Which might lead us into more lies about the citizens of Lisbon, but I think I shall just wait an play that video so everyone can see just what a piece of crap he really is.

All 911 calls in the area are rerouted to Lisbon wasting time and money.  But Brooks would never come out and say that .  No he had to go find one of his crime fighting com-padres to support him and snow ball the elected officials to go along with his personal quest to keep the Lisbon Communications Center that undoubtedly exceeds a million dollars just to keep the lights on and in operation.  But the ignorance is so blissful in Lisbon that Brooks rules by intimidation and harassment that the good citizens don't stand a chance of ever hearing the truth.

I believe the study to be flawed and it is the parenting skills that are responsible for this study not some ghetto infested inner city report.
There should be a comparison of Apples to Apples in my humble opinion. Not some pre-school program where the teachers end up as baby sitters more often then not.  Feeding the children breakfast, washing them up etc.  And if they would teach courses for the area instead of some manifested guideline from D.C.  perhaps we could change our youth even more and educate them instead of dumbing them down.  But that would go against the grand scheme of things now wouldn't it?

D. Brooks and A. Ward: Stopping crime through education

As local chiefs of police, we would like to share our thoughts on the recent Maine business leaders’ report that shows how high-quality early education helps our economy (Jan. 30). These programs also help keep our communities safe, and reduce later crime.
In addition to the positive education and career outcomes discussed by the business leaders, several long-term studies show that children who participate in high-quality early learning programs are significantly less likely to be involved in crime later in their teen or adult lives.
In fact, a study of Chicago’s Child-Parent Centers showed that children who did not participate in the program were 70 percent more likely to have been arrested for a violent crime by age 18 than those who did attend these high-quality early learning centers.
