Lisbon Middle School softball score

Lisbon- 7

Monmouth- 3

Lisbon Phillip W Sugg Middle School hosted Monmouth Middle School in a battle on the diamond. Both teams fought hard on offense and defense. On offense Lisbon had 34 at bats with 5 hits 10 walks and 1 strike out. Shelby Plourde had a stand up triple scoring Kayln Le for the first run of the game. On defense the outfield and infield worked well together. Left fielder Britany Normand sprinted to catch a fly ball as she ran into the fence, and Ali Sult tracked a high hit ball into center field catching the ball cleanly. Chandler Riordan at third base and Kaylin Le at second base fielded several balls throwing out runners at first. First baseman Kipri Steele had a few unassisted outs at first. T Alyssa Hall pitched the first 4 innings with 6 walks, 1 hit batter, and 7 strike outs. Shelby Plourde pitched the last three innings with 3 walks and 5 strike outs.
