The famous Moxie Boys will be back at the July 13th Moxie Day parade courtesy of The Moxie Congress.
Maine Comedian Birdie Googins will entertain at the New England Moxie Congress Lobstah Feast on Moxie Day in Lisbon Falls.
The Moxie Festival Committee is pleased to announce that the New England Moxie Congress (NEMC) will again take part in the Saturday July 13th Moxie Day parade bringing the iconic “Moxie Boys” as well as their unique Moxie cars and vehicles.
After the parade, NEMC
displays and events will be located at the Masonic Hall on Lisbon Road
(rte.196) just east of Main Street. Their famous Moxie go-karts, bottle
wagons, horsemobiles, the “Spirit of Moxie” aeroplane, and many other unique vehicles will be on display for the public.
The
public is invited to the NEMC annual Lobstah Feast at the Lodge
starting at 4 pm and the entertainer will be Maine's Famous Femme Fatale
and Marden's Lady Birdie Googins! Reserve early...seating is limited.

Since 1982, The Moxie Festival
in Lisbon, Maine has been held on the second weekend in July. The
Festival now includes a three day Pow Wow; Friday night fireworks and
Moxie Recipe Contest; a Saturday parade, Moxie Day 5K Race, Moxie Day
ATV Charity Ride, and Family Fun Fair; and on Sunday, the Chief Worumbo
Androscoggin River Race and the Moxie Car Show. Moxie was designated
Maine’s official soft drink on May 20, 2005.
