Chairwoman Ward - what in the world are you doing? It would appear that you are pulling out all the stop to push this budget through without cutting the Police Department. No vote can be taken in a workshop so why are you calling for a vote the same night. There is absolutely no time for anyone to cut any more before you call for a vote. Protecting Chief Brooks, your mentor, is your only consideration instead of the needs of the people.
