There’s probably no situation that leaves you feeling as helpless or soul crushing than to know that a loved one has been kidnapped or being held hostage. The only thing that might make that worse is if the police do nothing about it.

The Sheriff’s Department of Lafayette Parish, Louisiana are still being tight lipped about this situation and have not released the name of the shooter or the kidnapping victim.
