GOPDD: Republicans Reject Obama’s Bid To Close Guantanamo By Moving Dozens Of Terror Suspects To US Mainland

(Via Daily Mail) Republicans bluntly told President Obama his bid to close Guantanamo Bay was ‘dead on arrival’ within minutes of him outlining his plan to shut the prison camp.

The president begged Congress to let him move dozens of terror suspect to detention centers on US soil.

But almost as soon as he had finished speaking, his plan was dismissed with John McCain calling it ‘dead on arrival’.
