GOPDD: Senate GOP: Don’t ‘rob’ voters from voice in SCOTUS pick

(Via The Hill) Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) are hitting back at Democrats in the battle over the Supreme Court, saying voters should have a say in selecting the next justice.

The two senators — who are at the center of whether President Obama’s nominee will get a committee hearing or floor vote — said Justice Antonin Scalia’s death gives Americans a chance to “make their voice heard” on his replacement.
