GOPDD: Trump to Michelle Obama: ‘We Have Tremendous Hope and Promise’

President-elect Donald Trump responded on Saturday to Michelle Obama’s statement that the country does not feel like it has hope right now.

“We have tremendous hope, and we have tremendous promise and tremendous potential,” Trump said in Mobile, Alabama, on the last stop of his so-called “Thank You Tour.”
“And I actually think she made that statement not meaning it the way it came out,” Trump said about the first lady. Trump mentioned that he met with the first couple after his election victory saying of the first lady, “She could not have been nicer.”
