GOPDD: This State Just Launched Movement to Ban Sharia Law and the First Islamic Sharia Court in the USA is Not Happy!

Montana Republicans fought their liberal peers to get a Sharia Law bill passed. Senate Bill 97, which bans Sharia Law from the state, passed in a straight party line vote of 56-44, the Missoulian reports.

Democrats in Montana claimed Senate Bill 97 targeted Muslims. The GOP state representatives struck down their arguments, noting the legislation merely reinforced the Montana state and United States Constitutions.
The Montana bill does not mention Sharia Law specifically by name, but it was the only foreign law debated during testimony in both the state House and Senate Judiciary Committees.
