Public Hearing Notice - ATV Ordinance Amendments

On Council's Agenda for August 14, 2018 at 7PM

The Lisbon Town Council will hold a public hearing on August 14, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Town Office Public Meeting Room to hear comments on amendments to the ATV Ordinance and ATV map.  Copies of these amendments may be viewed or obtained at the Town Clerk's Office, 300 Lisbon Street, Lisbon or online at www.lisbonme.org on or after August 6, 2018.

LISBON AREA UPDATE

Update: Heat Advisory In Effect July 3 and July 4th. - Lisbon PD is a cooling center

A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is expected.  The combinaton of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible.  Drink plenty of fluids...stay in an air-conditioned room...stay out of the sun...and check up on relatives and neighbors, especially oder adults who live alone, to make sure they are able to stay cool.
Should someone need a place to go for a bit to cool, the Lisbon Police Department is a designated cooling center.
Stay cool – stay hydrated – if you have young children and/or pets, don’t forget to check the back seat – if you have pets, do not leave them in the car without the air conditioning on; with the current outside temperature of 84o F, in 10 minutes the inside of your car is 103 and within 30 minutes the inside temperature will climb to 118oF.
Please be safe on this 4th of July holiday!

Town Offices Closed For The Holiday - July 4th

All departments regularly open on Wednesday will be closed Wednesday, July 4th. Please have a safe holiday!

Please remember the Transfer Station is normally closed on Thursday and will still be closed on Thursday.
