(Bizpacreview) On the basis of a recent video released by Islamic State terrorists warning of a Paris-style attack in the United States, the Department of Homeland Security is warning of the possibility of the group targeting Washington, D.C.-area hotels and convention centers.
There was nothing in the DHS bulletin that referred to “specific intelligence or concerns of an imminent attack,” the Investigative Project on Terrorism reported; although, the video was enough to raise at least a general alarm.
(Free Beacon) The Pentagon said Friday that it will not hold captured ISIS operatives beyond 30 days, after which they will be turned over to the Iraqi government.
“Fourteen to 30 days is a ballpark figure, but even that is not really completely nailed down,” U.S. military spokesman Col. Steve Warren, who is based in Baghdad, told reporters Friday, according to Fox News, adding that there isn’t a “hard definition of short-term.”
Islamic State (ISIS) jihadists force birth control pills and injections on captives – often just young girls – so they can trade them as the spoils of war. The practice emerged as an interpretation of Islamic law that bans them from sex with pregnant slaves.
The Jerusalem Post reports: A 16-year-old boy was beheaded by the notorious fundamentalist organization Islamic State for not attending mandatory Friday prayer services in the border town of Jarabulus, Syria, the Kurdish News Agency reported Sunday.
The boy was arrested last Saturday by the organization’s secret police services after he was discovered hiding out at a relative’s house near the Turkish-Syrian border.

“In Syria and Iraq Christians are being executed. Churches and holy sites are being destroyed. Children are being enslaved. The Obama administration is still not ready to say that ISIS and the Assad regime are committing crimes against humanity. We are,” Ryan said at a press conference Thursday.
(CNSNews) The top U.S. military commander in Europe told lawmakers Tuesday that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL) is infiltrating the ranks of refugees entering Europe, and that terrorists, returning foreign fighters and criminals are now part of the “daily” flow.
Asked by Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) whether ISIS will continue to try to infiltrate refugee flows, U.S. Air Force Gen. Philip Breedlove told the Senate Armed Services Committee, “I think that they are doing that today.”
(CNSNews) Asked on Monday if Islamic State terrorists are carrying out a campaign of genocide against Syria’s Christians, White House Spokesman Josh Earnest said the word genocide “involves a very specific legal determination that has, at this point, not been reached.”
He condemned the terrorists’ “willingness to target religious minorities, including Christians.”
Earnest noted that the Obama administration has long expressed its concerns over ISIS/ISIL’s “slaughter” of religious minorities in Iraq and Syria.

Enough is enough! German citizens are witnessing the fast-track decline of their nation. (Via The Hill) The U.S. has lost ground in the fight against Islamic extremism, the former commander of U.S. forces in the Middle East said in a recent interview.
“Unfortunately, we have lost ground over time,” said retired Gen. John P. Abizaid, former commander of U.S. Central Command in an interview published in this month’s West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center’s magazine.
U.S. warplanes launched air strikes against a suspected Islamic State training camp in western Libya on Friday, killing more than 40 people, likely including a militant connected to two deadly attacks last year in neighbouring Tunisia.
It was the second U.S. air strike in three months against Islamic State in Libya, where the hardline Islamist militants have exploited years of chaos following Muammar Gaddafi’s 2011 overthrow to build up a presence on the southern shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

American icon, entertainer and Muscular Dystrophy ambassador Jerry Lewis blasted President Barack Obama’s understanding of the Islamic State (ISIS), praised GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, saying the United States should not allow in Syrian refugees in an interview aired on Eternal Word Television Network.
Trump has called for a moratorium on Muslims entering the United States until the government can be assured terrorists aren’t getting in. Other Republicans have criticized him singling out Muslims, but have said Syrian refugees shouldn’t be accepted over fears ISIS members are embedded among them.
The Obama administration has not prosecuted a single Palestinian terrorist responsible for killing Americans abroad, despite a congressional mandate ordering the Justice Department to take action against these individuals, according to disclosures made by lawmakers on Tuesday.
Palestinian terrorists have murdered at least 64 Americans, including two unborn children, since 1993. Yet the U.S. government has failed to take legal action against those who committed the crimes, lawmakers disclosed during a Tuesday hearing on the Justice Department’s failure to live up to its mandate to bring these terrorists to justice.
Many of the terrorists continue to roam free across the Middle East, with one hosting a Hamas-affiliated television show in Jordan.
With criticism mounting from Congress and U.S. victims of terrorism, Justice Department officials say they are working to initiate cases, but warn that this could take “many years” to play out.
If their plot had succeeded, would the British government have awakened to the reality of the global jihad?
