LISBON/LISBON FALLS, MAINE USA
The Department of Defense has confirmed that an American has been killed in action while fighting ISIS in Iraq. The first American killed in the fight against ISIS…. THIS is what we know of the events leading up to this soldiers sacrifice for his country!
Previously, the military’s role in Iraq has been limited to training and assisting Iraqi forces only. But dozens of special forces troops joined with Kurdish peshmerga fighters after being tipped off that dozens of hostages were facing a mass execution. American troops provided helicopter support, and then went with Iraqi troops to the compound, where over 70 hostages were rescued.
Well, it has been the illustration of choice for 2nd Amendment advocates for years, but especially lately. If all guns were banned, then a murderer will just use something else. A knife, a bat, or rock; anything that can kill will do when murder is in one’s heart. Now, there is an actual event to point to as backup to this reality.
Fox reports
A former Army vet is recovering from stab wounds after putting himself between 16 terrified children and a knife-wielding teen determined to kill at an Illinois public library this week.
“He actually ran into the room yelling, ‘I’m going to kill some people!’” James Vernon told the Pekin Daily Times Thursday.
24-year-old Gregory Schaffer — a U.S. Marine — was recently ordered by officials to remove the American flag outside of his Florida home.
Shortly after returning from Iraq, the Marine was told that the flag was violating the town’s permitting code. A neighbor had filed a complaint with the town.
Schaffer said, “It’s sad. It’s sad that we have to go through that just to fly a flag.”
He continued, “It’s disgusting that anybody should have to go through that. I fought for the flag, now I’m paying for the flag.”
As Russian warships rain down cruise missiles as part of its military strike in Syria, there’s now a glaring absence in the region: For the first time since 2007, the U.S. Navy has no aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf.
NBC News Military officials said Thursday that they’ve pulled the USS Theodore Roosevelt, which is home to about 5,000 service members and 65 combat planes, so that it can undergo ‘maintenance.’ (Yeah, sure) The ship officially exited the gulf around 11 p.m. ET.
It’s amazing how the left operates. Religious tolerance is unacceptable… unless it’s tolerance for extreme Muslim practices such as child rape. Then, we must exercise an absurd level of “tolerance” by accepting perversion as a legitimate expression of faith. One man acted when others wouldn’t when he saw our Muslim allies raping children and is now facing the consequences in Obama’s military.
Sergeant 1st Class Charles Martland, the Green Beret being separated involuntarily from the U.S. Army for kicking and body slamming an Afghan police commander he describes as a “brutal child rapist,” began telling his side of the story Monday.
Radical Islamic terrorists are infamous for spreading their messages of fear, hate and destruction through aggressively worded campaigns like, “Convert or die,” which turn out to be surprisingly effective.
Recently the Islamic State group has been putting out “hit lists” of their potential targets in an effort to intimidate the west, but we won’t just take it in stride. U.S. Marines have fired back with a billboard of their own – I wouldn’t want to be on the other side of their aggression!
A retired Marine and his service dog were denied a seat on an American Airlines flight the same day they had been honored with the Service Dog of the Year award.
Jason Haag, his wife, and his dog Axel were returning from the American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards where Axel had been honored as the Service Dog of the Year on Sunday when American Airlines employees at Los Angeles International Airport refused to allow them to board a plane to Reagan National Airport.
The airline employees did not believe that Axel was a service dog though Haag provided an animal identification card. Axel was also wearing a harness identifying him as a service dog.
Rep. Mac Thornberry (R., Texas) said Friday that the House Armed Services Committee is looking into whether U.S. soldiers were discouraged from reporting sexual abuse of Afghan boys due to the Obama administration’s push for a hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Thornberry, who chairs the committee, spoke to reporters on Capitol Hill after being briefed on a report regarding Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland, the decorated Green Beret who blew the whistle on U.S.-allied Afghan forces raping boys and has subsequently been discharged from the Army.
The congressman, who has not yet read the report, told the Washington Free Beacon that the committee will explore the potential link between the Obama administration’s plan to remove military advisers in Afghanistan and the alleged Pentagon policy instructing soldiers to ignore suspicions of child rape at the hands of Afghan forces.
One common criticism of billionaire businessman and presidential candidate Donald Trump is that he far too often speaks in vague generalities and rarely offers specifics about where he stands on the issues.
That is no longer the case, at least regarding his stance on gun rights and the Second Amendment, as Trump just released his official policy position on his campaign website.
The Internal Revenue Service revoked the nonprofit status of the veterans benefit organization that hosted and sold tickets to a foreign policy speech by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump aboard a retired U.S. battleship, The Associated Press has learned. The group’s endorsement of Trump at the event also could raise legal problems under campaign finance laws.
Trump’s campaign did not respond to questions from the AP about whether it was aware that the IRS had revoked the nonprofit status of the Veterans for a Strong America, which sold tickets to Trump’s event for up to $1,000 as a fundraiser. The IRS issued its decision Aug. 10, citing the group’s failure to file any tax returns for three consecutive years, according to IRS records reviewed by the AP.
After Muslim terrorist kills 4 unarmed Marines at Chattanooga recruiting office, Obama-directed policy will make stateside Marines sitting ducks.
Under the new Marine Corps policy for military facilities in U.S., Marines will NOT be allowed to be armed but will have to “shelter in place.” In other words, “run and hide” in case of attack.
How is it that we are so fed up that we actually want to see tanks on the streets? I will tell you how. This administration has used the power of the pin to go around law and create its own. Americans are tired of being stomped on and the constitution being ignored.
When I saw what Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump wants to do for our veterans, I started counting the days Obama has left in office a little louder.
Donald Trump is demanding that advertising revenue from the next GOP debate goes towards veterans charities instead of network executives… Genius, right?
Former Florida Congressman Allen West absolutely exploded in New York
City’s Times Square on Wednesday. The Republican strongly criticized
President Barack Obama’s leadership calling him a “weakling” and
“charlatan.” “I want President Obama to know one thing,” West said.
“You may say that you have done something that no one else has done. You
know why no one else has done it? Because it’s a damn stupid thing you
just did.”
He continued: “If people are upset because of what I’m
saying, I really don’t care. Because I had a father that stood at World
War II…I gave 22 years of my life to make sure that that great beacon
of liberty, freedom and democracy continues to stand. And I have a
nephew, I have friends that are still serving on the front lines — and
my commitment is to the oath that I took on 31, July, 1982, to support
and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all
enemies, foreign and domestic.”
Organizers estimated roughly 10,000 people attended the rally on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press.
Ex-Congressman Allen West Explodes During Fiery and Emotional Times Square Speech
In
June, Sen. Dean Heller tried to get the Pentagon to change its practice
of banning arms from our soldiers on bases and recruiting centers here
in America. But it appears that John McCain was the principle foe of the
move and helped to defeat the arming of our soldiers which ended up
having deadly […]
President Obama travelled to Pittsburgh
on Tuesday to speak to several thousand veterans about the ongoing
problems in the Department of Veterans Affairs and several other
veteran-related issues.
In covering the event, the military news outlet Stars and Stripes notes that it’s not the kind of outlet where the President typically finds a lot of fans.
Perhaps reflecting mixed feelings about the president
among veterans, Obama often drew tepid applause, especially for comments
about his nuclear deal with Iran.
While giving his speech, a lone, elderly veteran rose silently and
held a sign attacking the Obama administration for their part in the
Benghazi debacle (or scandal). Apparently three other veterans don’t
believe that silent protest should be allowed at a speech, because they
quite literally tackled the older man before ripping his sign away.
Undeterred the man rose again, hands held in the air to protest what he
obviously believes to be the grave injustices committed by the Obama
administration.
Because he no longer had his sign he was forced to vocalize his
displeasure and began yelling Benghazi while the President spoke. This
disruption forced security to remove him physically from the building.

“It will be big. We will hit the kuffar (unbelievers) hard
InshAllah.” Not that this has anything to do with Islam, as everyone
from Obama to Cameron to Tony Abbott tell us. Can the West survive this
refusal to face reality?
“US Officials Warn of ISIS Attacks on July 4,” by Tzvi Ben-Gedalyahu, Jewish Press, June 27, 2015 (thanks to Pamela Geller):
American police forces from coast to coast are on alert from federal
officials that the Islamic State (ISIS) is planning to terrorize the
country during the July 4 Independence Day holiday.
Editor's note; While we are on this subject those that are planning on shooting off "Fireworks", Please be respectful of our Veterans, Pets, and Wildlife. For some of Our Veterans, the loud booms are a reminder of the War experiences that have left them scarred with PTSD. Shooting fireworks off before and after the Holiday is not necessary. Your home and wildlife might be 'unsettled' also. Just be considerate and have a safe celebration. Thank You.

The United States must be moving into some kind of twilight reality. In 2015, it's almost impossible to speak out against the horrors of Islam without being labeled an "Islamaphobe."
The issue has recently come to the front lines of conversation after Pam Geller hosted a "Draw Mohammed" event in Texas...
