Storing food may soon be considered an act of terrorism in the USA, it seems. NaturalNews has confirmed that federal agents visited a Mormon stored food facility and demanded their customer names, addresses and purchase receipts.
This is all part of the "crackdown" on anyone who tries to get prepared for the coming economic implosion, where government wants people to be victims rather than preppers:

We Honor This Marines Wish And All Our Armed Services For The Freedoms We Take For Granted

Our Marines want this all over the net

THE UNITED STATES NAVY SALUTES OUR U.S. .. MARINE CORPS....

THE MARINES WANT THIS TO ROLL ALL OVER THE U.S.  Canada and The World. Please don't delete this until you send it on, Let's send it around the world.

FRIENDS ARE BORN, NOT MADE

This is a poem being sent from a Marine To his Dad. For those who take the time to read it, you'll see a letter from him to  his dad at the bottom. It makes you truly thankful  for not only the Marines, but ALL of our troops.

THE MARINE

We all came together, Both young and old To fight for our freedom, To stand and be bold.

In the midst of all evil, We stand our ground, And we protect our country From all terror around..

Peace and not war, Is what some people say. But I'll give my life, So you can live the American way.

I give you the right To talk of your peace. To stand in your groups, And protest in our streets.

But still I fight on, I don't bitch, I don't whine. I'm just one of the people Who is doing your time.

I'm harder than nails, Stronger than any machine. I'm the immortal soldier, I'm a U..S. MARINE!

So stand in my shoes, And leave from your home. Fight for the people who hate you, With the protests they've shown. Fight for the stranger, Fight for the young. So they all may have, The greatest freedom you've won.

Fight for the sick, Fight for the poor. Fight for the cripple, Who lives next door.

But when your time comes, Do what I've done. For if you stand up for freedom, You'll stand when the fight's done

By: Corporal Aaron M. Gilbert , US Marine Corps USS SAIPAN, PERSIAN GULF

July 23

Hey Dad,
Do me a favor and label this 'The Marine' and send it to everybody on your email list. Even leave this letter in it. I want this rolling all over the US and Canada and The World. I want every home reading it. Every eye seeing it. And every heart to feel it. So can you please send this for me? I would but my email time isn't that long and I don't have much time anyway.
You know what Dad? I wondered what it would be like to truly understand what JFK said in his inaugural speech. 'When the time comes to lay down my life for my country, I do not cower from this responsibility. I welcome it.' Well, now I know. And I do.. Dad, I welcome the opportunity to do what I do. Even though I have left behind a beautiful wife, and I will miss the birth of our first born child, I would do it 70 times over to fight for the place that God has made for my home. I love you all and I miss you very much.  I wish I could be there when Sandi has our baby, but tell her that I love her, and Lord willing, I will be coming home soon. Give Mom a great big hug from me and give one to yourself too.
Aaron

Please let this marine (and all our military) know we care by passing his poem onto your friends even if you don't usually take time to forward mail...do it this time! Thanks, Let's help Aaron's dad spread the word .......FREEDOM isn't FREE Someone pays for you and me.

God bless you!

Since Scott Benson Came From Brunswick, Is This A Premonition To Lisbon's Future?

Lisbon Council Take Notice:

Scott Benson, currently is Lisbon's Economic Development Director but did work for Brunswick.
In reality a TIF  is: (Town Indebted Forever)

Unfair advantage

It’s unfortunately time to recognize the efforts of 2010 Brunswick Councilors  Ben Tucker, David Watson, Suzan Wilson, John Perreault, Gerald Favereau, Margo Knight,  and Joanne King.

They voted for the tax increment financing (TIF) that gave the hotel at Brunswick Station millions of dollars in tax, land and infrastructure benefits. A requirement of a TIF, is that the new business is needed.

Brunswick hotel owners en masse informed the council that our businesses were down over 25 percent, but they insisted on playing hotel developer with the taxpayers’ money anyway.

There was no financial risk to them, but there was huge risk for the town and existing hotel owners.

Businesses in Maine, such as the Brunswick hotel owners,  put not only their seed money at risk, but also their homes and entire net worth.

News Media Corruption: FOX News caught using fake video of riots in Russia‏

Earlier this year FOX News was caught faking news footage.

First it was showing footage of riots/rallies in India and claiming
that it was Libya.

Well, this time they were caught showing footage of angry Greek
riots and claiming that it was in Moscow.

Caught faking it again

DEA agents laundered drug cartel cash for them:‏ Is There any difference with Lisbon's Brooks and certain used car dealers or the Economic Development Office and certain councilors??

Lisbon,

Whenever you think it's bad, it's worse.

The ATF sold guns to the Mexican drug cartels.

U.S. Federal agents
allowed the Sinaloa cartel to traffic several
tons of cocaine into the United States in exchange for information
about rival cartels.

Now, it appears that the DEA was laundering the money for them
too...
DEA agents laundered cartel cash for them

Congress to Investigate DEA Cartel 'Money Laundering'

After the New York Times published a story last week which claimed that U.S. officials facilitated money laundering schemes in their efforts to crack down on Mexican drug cartels, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee has launched an investigation into the matter.

In a strongly-worded letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, Representative Darrell Issa accused the Justice Department of doing more to promote illegal activity than fight it, claiming Holder had green-lighted a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) program which lacks appropriate operational safeguards to prevent the implementation of such dangerous schemes, with disastrous consequences.

Issa further alleged that such programs have made the U.S. an "accomplice to the Mexican drug trade," and requested that Holders office hand over information on the DEA's money-tracking activities to his committee today.

Based on the Times article, however, there is no immediate evidence of foul play. While narcotics agents may have been involved in laundering money for Mexican drug trafficking groups, the circumstances behind this are unknown. As security analyst James Bosworth notes, this lack of data makes it difficult to judge the calculus behind the DEA's operations.

What's more, Issa's indignation at the Times' report may have more to do with his own political agenda. As InSight Crime has reported, he has made a name for himself as a major opponent of the Obama Justice Department. Along with Senator Charles Grassley, Issa spearheaded the recent campaign against the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco and Explosives (ATF's) controversial "Operation Fast and Furious," under which roughly 2,000 guns were allowed to cross the U.S. border.

Government activating "FEMA camps" across U.S.‏ (Alex Jones, federal government, FEMA, FEMA camps, Halliburton, internment, KBR)

This is huge news!

Detention centers, internment camps, you can call them what ever
you like. They've already been built. In many cities, the plan is to
use existing structures such as sports stadiums and other large
facilities.

Well, now sub-contractors are being sought to staff the so-called
'FEMA camps' across the country. Which is kinda strange, why would
they spend all that money staffing these places if no one is in them?

Unless they're planning to fill them...

Government activating "FEMA camps" across U.S.

The camps have been built,
now they're being staffed

A document originating from Halliburton subsidiary KBR that provides details on a push to staff FEMA and U.S. Army camps around the United States. Entitled "Project Overview and Anticipated Project Requirements," the document describes services KBR is looking to farm out to subcontractors. The document was passed on to us by a state government employee who wishes to remain anonymous for obvious reasons.

Services up for bid include catering, temporary fencing and barricades, laundry and medical services, power generation, refuse collection, and other services required for temporary "emergency environment" camps located in five regions of the United States.

Internment Camp Services Bid Arrives After NDAA

KBR's call for FEMA camp service bids arrives soon after the Senate overwhelmingly passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which permits the military to detain and interrogate supposed domestic terror suspects in violation of the Fourth Amendment and Posse Comitatus.

Section 1031 of the NDAA bill declares the whole of the United States as a "battlefield" and allows American citizens to be arrested on U.S. soil and incarcerated in Guantanamo Bay.

FBI updates definition of "rape" and accidentally reveals TSA agents to be serial rapists‏

Something bizarre and unexpected has just happened in America: In response to protests by feminist groups, the FBI has updated its definition of "rape." But what it probably never expected is that the new definition of "rape" ensares nearly all TSA agents as criminal, serial rapists!
Yep: If you believe the feminists' definition of rape, then the TSA is engaged in widespread serial raping all across the nation, every single day.
Why is this being tolerated? Isn't it time we took TSA rapings seriously and said NO to these criminals?

Maine State Housing Authority Payroll Data Added to MaineOpenGov.org

Data shows 30% increase in total payroll cost in just five years

AUGUSTAToday, MaineOpenGov.org has been updated and expanded to show five years of salary and benefits data for employees of the Maine State Housing Authority (MSHA). The data from Maine Housing was provided in response to a Freedom of Access Act request made by The Maine Heritage Policy Center (MHPC). The data shows that in the past five calendar years (2005 – 2010) total payroll and benefits costs of Maine State Housing Authority employees grew by 30%, from $7,119,528 in 2005 to $9,370,550 in 2010. Current MSHA Executive Director, Dale McCormick, took over as head of MSHA in 2005.

Maine State Housing Authority Total Payroll Cost 2005 - 2010
Maine State Housing Total Payroll

“We’re excited to add another, brand new set of payroll data to MaineOpenGov.org,” said Sam Adolphsen, Director of Open Government at MHPC. “The Maine State Housing Authority handles a great deal of public money, and is responsible for providing critical services for our most vulnerable citizens. It’s vital that their operations are transparent, and that they are accountable to taxpayers for how they spend those public funds. This is particularly important at a time when 6,500 of our fellow Mainers find themselves on the waiting list for affordable housing.”

Other key findings from the MSHA payroll data include:
  • Maine State Housing Authority payrolls have grown 30 times as fast as the Maine Turnpike Authority payroll over the same time period (2005 – 2010) and more than doubled the increases in Maine State Government and University of Maine System total payrolls.

  • The number of employees earning more than $100,000 in total compensation more than doubled, from 7 employees in 2005, to 17 in 2010.
  • “Administration” Payroll costs increased by 61% from 2005 to 2010.
  • Payroll for “Asset Management” has jumped from $1,303,123 in 2005 to $2,090,356 in 2010, up 60% in 5 years.
This updated data release comes at a time when MSHA is being questioned for the cost of public housing projects around the state. The original Freedom of Access Act request that MHPC made asked for much more data than is currently presented on MaineOpenGov.org. MSHA has said that they cannot provide individual salary data before 2005, and they have yet to release to MHPC their vendor payments spending information.

“This data is key to helping shed a light on the operations of the Maine State Housing Authority,” said Adolphsen. “While there are still many questions to be answered about the high cost of ‘affordable’ housing projects at MSHA, this data shows very clearly that cost containment hasn’t been a strength for MSHA, at least in the past half-decade. While the payrolls have been growing at MSHA, so has the waiting list of Maine folks trying to get into affordable housing – that just isn’t right.”

MHPC Applauds Governor LePage's Supplemental Budget Proposal

Bringing Maine more in line with national averages will save state
hundreds of millions

PORTLANDThe Maine Heritage Policy Center is praising the Governor’s new plan released today that will address the expected DHHS budget shortfall of more than $200 million over the next two years. LePage’s plan makes changes in the eligibility requirements for Maine’s Medicaid program, including ending the practice of allowing adults with no children to be eligible for Medicaid benefits, something only 7 states allow. The plan also redesigns some benefits offered to those who are eligible by eliminating some benefits like chiropractic services and smoking cessation products that are not federally mandated.

“This is a fiscally responsible, common-sense approach to begin addressing the budget challenges Maine faces,” said Lance Dutson, CEO of the Maine Heritage Policy Center. “For too long, Maine has been an extreme outlier in the generosity of our taxpayer funded welfare benefits, and bringing Maine more in line with our fellow states is the right place to start. Our research shows, if enrollment in welfare programs continues at the current rate, Maine is on pace to have more people on welfare by 2013 than are working in private sector jobs – this is an abomination, and we just can’t let that happen.”

The plan will help reduce Maine’s per person Medicaid cost, which is far above the national average. Maine’s per person cost was $1,895 in 2009, while the national average was $1,187.

“For too long welfare spending has gone unchecked, and the Governor is doing Maine a service by reining it in,” Dutson continued. “By addressing the budget shortfall with spending reductions, instead of increased taxes like past administrations have done, Governor LePage is freeing up Maine’s businesses and entrepreneurs to invest more in growing and creating new jobs. This will provide needy Mainers with more job opportunities that can provide them with sustainable support and long-term economic freedom.”
