Ah Huh Don't get Trumped! Eagle Rising:Don’t be Angry at Donald Trump, Be Angry at His Supporters

I've gone back and forth on this from outright disgust of Donald Trump to guarded support of his candidacy – but at the end of the day, I just don’t get what his supporters see in him.

Let’s just be honest here: Trump was a liberal until very, very recently. Trump is STILL supportive of single payer socialized healthcare (just like Hillary Clinton). Trump believes that the so called “assault weapons” ban should be reinstituted. Trump was pro-choice until he decided to run for President as a Republican in 2011. Trump has argued for HUGE tax increases on the wealthy and he is an economic protectionist – very opposed to “free trade.” In the past he has supported both Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as many other liberal politicians… the man is not a conservative.

Michael Reagan (the conservative adopted son of former President Ronald Reagan) recently wrote that Donald Trump is a fake conservative and that his candidacy is an embarrassing moment for the GOP, the country and the planet.

Over at the Blaze, Matt Walsh writes that we all know these things. We all know that Trump is no conservative and so Walsh doesn’t blame Trump for what is happening right now in the GOP race for the White House… no, instead, Walsh blames Trump’s supporters.

I suppose it’s no use getting angry at Donald Trump for his repugnant and ridiculous antics. He’s an impetuous phony with no integrity, and he’s just doing what impetuous phonies with no integrity do. It just so happens that he was lucky enough to be born wealthy so he can afford to seek attention by running for president, whereas the typical childish brat is relegated to sitting in the back of the classroom flicking boogers at the girl in front of him.

That’s all Trump is really doing — political booger flicking (emphasis ours)— the only difference is that he’s old, rich, and famous, with millions of admirers who proudly insist that a political booger flicker is just what this country needs right now.

WHAT IS THE VALUE OF A LEGAL REVIEW?

The question is “What is the value of a Legal Review?” A legal review is an attorney or attorney’s firm’s opinion. If you notice, I never asked the cost. The cost is how much faith the client has in the opinion.

We have seen several times when the legal review wasn’t worth anything because when you go to court a Judge decides based on the merits of the case and not a legal review. Take for instance, whether or not the School Department has to accept the lowest bid or not. The attorney for the School Department provided a legal review stating the School Department did not have to accept the lowest bid. But when the lowest bidder took the School Department to court; the Judge rules in favor of the lowest bidder.

You see the value of a legal review is how a Judge resolves a case. The problem here is that both the Town and the School Department have paid for numerous legal reviews.

Who is right? The only way to determine who is right is to take the other party to court and let a Judge resolve the situation.

To determine the value and who is right, can only be done with the ruling of a court. In order to get the case before a court, a great deal of money has to be spent on a lawyer. Normally, the same lawyer that provided the legal review will be presenting the case. Before the Judge hears the case, the attorneys play a game of delays in order to run the cost up. In legal terms it is called “An Alternate Resolution”. The purpose is supposed to be to reduce court time but attorneys use it to run up their bills.

I know this because I dealt with Roger Therriault when I sued the town twice. I have first-hand knowledge of the judicial system in Androscoggin County.

Once again, I ask “What is the Value of a Legal Review?” There is no value to a legal review because it is only an opinion and everyone has an opinion. If someone was to take the town to court over the town’s interpretation of the Town’s Charter; I believe they would win easily.
I believe the Town Attorney’s legal reviews are what Chairman Pesce wants them to be.

As Guy has been writing about all week, Hillary Clinton has been forced by the FBI to turn over the personal email server she used during her time at Secretary of State to conduct official government business. Earlier this week we learned from the Inspector General that Clinton had at least two classified, top secret emails hosted on her server. Keep in mind the server was a) not secure b) it's illegal to send or receive classified information on a private email account or server.

Yesterday the FBI got their hands on Clinton's server and to no one's surprise, it is blank. From Fox News (bolding is mine):

The FBI has taken possession of the personal e-mail server used by Hillary Clinton during her tenure as secretary of state, according to a published report.

Barbara Wells, an attorney for Denver-based computer services firm Platte River Networks, told The Washington Post that federal agents picked up the server from a private data center in New Jersey Wednesday afternoon. The attorney told the paper that the server "was blank" and no longer contained useful information.

"The information had been migrated over to a different server for purposes of transition," Wells told the paper. "To my knowledge the data on the old server is not available now on any servers or devices in Platte River Network’s control." Wells added that the company had cooperated with the FBI and had been told it was not a target of the investigation.

The Justice Department is looking into whether classified information was improperly stored on or passed through the server, which Clinton used for all her correspondence during her time as secretary of state.

The Town should publicly disclose the detailed proposal to DEP. The 
public, Conservation Commission, Water Commissioners, ARWC, and 
environmental groups should have had the opportunity to provide input. 
Interested and credible parties with good working relations with DEP 
would have had a real opportunity to enhance the local environment.
 
Other communities around us are getting cash grants from the State of 
Maine for environmental projects. We likely would be awarded a grant if 
the administration was environmentally pro-active and not adversarial 
toward the DEP and local interests.
 
Lisbon has two models for managing our utilities and the results are 
clear. The Water Dept. is overseen by a board, with minutes and open 
public participation. Their public complaints and system operations 
issues are discussed and resolved in the open. The Sewer Dept. does not 
cooperate with the public on any such basis.  The environmental 
contamination by the Lisbon Sewer Dept. is the result of lack of 
visibility and accountability. For instance, there is no disclosure of 
the complaints from the Huston Park area related to the months of sewer 
line back-up or the system failures at the Sabattus River boat launch 
dumping perhaps millions of gallons of raw sewage into the river.
 
This clearly illustrates the need to keep the Water Dept. oversight 
structure. Bringing the Sewer Dept. under the same management would also 
serve the community better than the present system.

SICK AND TIRED OF THE SCHOOL DEPARTMENT DEMANDS

I am sick and tired of the school department’s “special interest group” and their attempts at strong arming Lisbon taxpayers. This group will do anything to get their way.

Last year the School told us they needed a new gym so they could hold special events and meets. This year we gave them a new gym and track and later we found out that we still can’t hold some sports meets due to other factors. Many residents feel we should have been told the entire truth last year.

When the school got the bond for the new gym they got a lot more money than they needed. This is frowned upon in the financial world. By doing this they placed our tax exempt status in danger which if revoked would cost Lisbon Taxpayers thousands of dollars in additional interest charges.

This year Lisbon Councilors made a genuine attempt at cutting your taxes. The Councilors cut over $300,000 dollars from the Municipal budget and have held the School side to a similar percentage cut. I think they should be commended for not bending to the demands of Lisbon School’s “special interest group’.

I resent the attitude I have been hearing from the School side of Lisbon Government. It is as if they feel they are in control of this town and the Councilors must do as they order. Its time for the School to realize they are under the financial control of Lisbon Council.

At a couple of Lisbon Council Meetings I heard parents threatening to leave Lisbon if their school needs weren't met. I think this may be the solution to our tax problem. Few families in Lisbon pay enough in residential taxes to pay for even one of their children's school costs. Hmmm.

I am willing to pay for my share of our children's basic education. I am not willing to give our School Department a blank check and have the tax rate rise to a point where people lose their homes to a greedy School Department.
I think we should call and thank our Councilors for the good job they have done on this years budget. I for one will be voting them back into office if they run this November.
I think the School Department should stop their childish bickering and start working on bringing their academic ratings up from a "D" to a "C". That would be a much more constructive way of using their time.

Previous reports during the Ride for the Constitution event back in 2013 indicated that former Clinton associate Larry Nichols admitted being a hitman for the Clintons. Following that admission, he also went on to admit months later that he was the man that cut off Wayne DuMond's testicles at the order of Bill Clinton. While he has provided excuses for why he said those things, new evidence provided by Pete Santilli indicates that Mr. Nichols continues to confess to capital crimes and indicates he should be arrested on the basis of those claims.

Last week, I was to interview former Clinton associate Larry Nichols of Clinton Chronicles fame on the Sons of Liberty radio show. Prior to that interview, I was contacted by the Deborah Jordan of the Pete Santilli show. Ms. Jordan had no idea that I had scheduled an interview with Larry Nichols the following day. She proceeded to inform me that Mr. Nichols had not only confessed on several occasions to criminal acts (see here and here), but they had just released a new audio file of Nichols admitting that he had committed murder for the Clintons. Is this Hope~n~Change? The Guardian: Isis 'hacking division' releases details of 1,400 Americans and urges attacks

A group calling itself the Islamic State hacking division has published the details of 1,400 mostly US military and government personnel, urging supporters to attack those listed.

The spreadsheet, published online on Wednesday, exposes names, email addresses, phone numbers and passwords. Those listed include members of the marine corps, Nasa, the state department, air force and FBI.

Supporters of Isis on Twitter seized on the breach, posting personal details of soldiers and government staffers and encouraging lone wolves to “act and kill”.

A person claiming to speak for the group told the Guardian the information was obtained from military and government databases, a claim on which US army officials threw doubt.

“This is the second or third time they’ve claimed that and the first two times I’ll tell you, whatever lists they got were not taken by any cyber attack,” the army chief of staff, Gen Ray Odierno, said on Wednesday.

“This is no different than the other two,” he said, referring to earlier so-called hacks by Isis supporters in January and May.

CHAIRMAN PECSE AND HIS FOUR MINIONS PLAYED THE TAXPAYERS!

Chairman Pesce, Councilors Metivier, Bickford, Crafts and Brunelle have forced the taxpayers to come up with additional tax dollars. These five Councilors had a perfect opportunity to reduce our taxes by $334,372 or roughly $.60 in our milrate. These numbers were provided to me by Chairman Pesce and Town Manager Barnes via email back on May 12, 2015.

If you couple this with the School Department coming in flat, the taxpayers would have received a reduction in taxes this year. However, Chairman Pesce and his four minions could not live with that so they started a war with the School Department. Now, these Councilors are going to begin the process of committing the tax process so that no further action can be taken by the VOTERS to approve a School Department Budget.

This action will force the School Department to have to live with the $14.88 million dollar budget. In order to operate this coming year, the School Department will have to reduce the staff or cut some or all of the sports programs. Either way the School Department has to go, our students will have to suffer the loss.

These five councilors created this situation and should be held totally responsible. I have discussed this situation with some of these councilors and they are passing the buck by placing the blame on Superintendent Green for not meeting their demands. In other words, it was the Councils way or the highway. The real loser here is the Town of Lisbon because our educational level is going to suffer in order to meet these Councilors demand; all because the people approved a Gym instead of a Public Works garage.

Keep in mind these Councilors name: Pesce; Metivier; Bickford; Crafts and Brunelle and every time you see them you can thank them. I personally will never vote for any of these individuals again. Chairman Pesce is up for re-election this November but he is not in my District.

I believe a Special Town meeting is in order to overturn the Town Councils amendment to the School budget. However, Chairman Pesce will never allow this to happen.

toward black men.

During the conversation, she said, “I believe we need to end the era of mass incarceration. If you compare arrest records in, you know, in charging of crimes, in convicting of crimes, in sentencing for crimes, you compare African-America men to white men, it is as unfortunately clear as it could be that there is a bias in favor of white men” who are arrested and charged.
